We're all pretty much over all the drama-filled events of these past couple days, BUT it did make me start thinking about how all this 'drama' seems to find such an outwardly happy group of friends. So I've come to the conclusion that people create their own drama. I, You, We create d-r-a-m-a!
Things to avoid:
*Asking questions, looking for a specific answer
-Leads to lies, which leads to disappointment. Keep it to yourself unless you want real answers.
*Expecting too much, being needy.
-Back off. These people are your "friends," not your bitches. Expecting they'll be there at your every whim is retarded. Take what they give and be grateful!
*Assuming people realize how annoying they are
-They don't know. You'll only get more annoyed as they continue to and more frequently partake in their annoying habits. Eventually MOST of the things they do/say or even just being in their presence will annoy you, nip it, just say something! (Try 'sarcastically' picking at it first though)
*Not thinking you're annoying
-You talk about all your other friends but for some reason you feel as though you're elite. Noooothing is wrong with you, you're on the cool side! Get over yourself, you are not God.
*Drinking too much and being an ass!
-You say all the things you know you're going to forget and in the morning regret. Alcohol intensifies every feeling you have in your sober mind, the most miniscule problem is now life or death. And for some reason those 'intense' feelings you have MUST be expressed in the most idiotic fashion possible. Pace yourself, TRY not to be an ass, I know its difficult.
This isn't directed toward any of my friends. Actually, I'm pretty sure i've done all these things and this is just me lecturing myself for regretful actions. But eh, it's whatev's makes life more interesting right?
